Herbs of Gold Digest Zymes

Herbs of Gold Digest-Zymes is a dietary supplement that contains a blend of enzymes and herbs to aid in the digestion of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and lactose. The formula includes microbial-derived enzymes such as amylase, protease, lactase, and cellulase which are highly stable and active throughout a wide pH range, making them more effective for longer through the digestive tract than pancreatic enzymes. The supplement also includes bromelains, a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapples, to break down proteins and lipase to aid in the digestion of fats. Additionally, it contains lactase to assist the digestion of lactose and Gentian, a herb traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a bitter tonic and to relieve symptoms of indigestion like abdominal pain, bloating and feeling of fullness. It is intended to be taken with meals to aid in the digestion of food.
